Hyun Dekempe (b. 1981) is a Belgian artist of South Korean descent, based in Velzeke (Zottegem). His work is deeply autobiographical, drawing inspiration from everyday moments and personal discoveries.

Currently, Dekempe focuses on a series of still lifes that delve into the essentials of existence: food and drink. His approach is impulsive, rough and stormy.
